Comics Review: Hellraiser: Requiem
The second volume takes the story in some crazy new directions. Pinhead is working some serious mojo, manipulating all sorts of folks in some grand plan. But, to what end? All sorts of crazy is revealed by the end of the volume.
The art in the second volume is more to my liking. And again, the imagery is quite disturbing and grim. But, what would you expect from Barker when Pinhead is involved? A little more time is spent in Hell during this volume, which allows for some wild illustrations.
These volumes are quick reads, so I’m still wanting more after I read each one. I’m even more curious to see where the story goes, now. Some pretty big stuff has been set up. Now, I want to see how it plays out.
