Hold up, Sam Shephard stars in a new Western in which he plays Butch Cassidy? Seriously, how did I not know about this? I am so there. One of my favorite films of the 90s was Shephard's own bizarre River Phoenix Western Silent Tongue and I can't wait to see what he and director Mateo Gil do with the Butch & Sundance myth. Trailer below looks promising but now I've gotta figure out if I'm gonna jump on the VOD release on September 2nd or wait for the theatrical experience in October. How 'bout both?
