Animal Man Cartoon!

Well, here is further proof that we live in a golden age of Dorkdom.  The DC Nation has a short Animal Man cartoon ready to air on Cartoon Network.  That's just bonkers to me.  And I love it.  Check out the clip below, I assure you, this is a reality.

Clip/Trailer: BRAVE, I Am Woman!

I love this trailer/clip for Brave, the latest Pixar film that peaks my interest in the same way that my current favorite Pixar flick, UP did when the first images from that film started to hit the interwebs.  The final shot of Meredith nose-to-nose with her mother is rather badass if you ask me.

54 Seconds of Wrong

Twitch Film has a 54 second clip from Quentin Dupieux's upcoming headtrip, Wrong.  Honestly, after the madness of this year's Rubber, Wrong might be one of my most anticipated films of 2012.  Forget The Dark Knight Rises, forget The Avengers, forget Prometheus.  2012 is all about Wrong.

Dork Hero: Charles Napier R.I.P.

Character actor Charles Napier has died.  You will be missed.  He was one of the first "That Guy" actors I recognized as a child watching films like The Blues Brothers, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.  Not to mention his countless television appearances on Simon & Simon, Kojak, and of course...Star Trek.  The last film I ever saw him in was The Goods and even though that movie was all kinds of awful, Napier provided some of the film's few laughs as the hate-filled racist car salesman.  And, of course, there's The Night Stalker.
