Check out the IFC's tribute video to Quentin Tarantino's first film. Reservoir Dogs was an incredibly important film in my cinematic education. It was the film that introduced me to a world of cinema outside of blockbuster movie making like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. I was 13 when I saw it and from the opening Madonna rant I was in love--shock, for sure, but utterly in love. And that crappy VHS tape began a massive months long anticipation for Pulp Fiction which would rock me to my core. I was never the same after this film. Thank goodness.
