Every since the trailer hit the internet, the fan posters for Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Django Unchained have been flooding the web.  But this one from deviant artist Daz Tibbles is worthy of a Mondo print.  Gorgeous.  Badass.  I want it on my wall.

Woot!  It's finally here, the first trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained complete with Johnny Cash and James Brown theme music.  Leonardo Dicaprio sorta steals my heart in the trailer, can't wait to see more of his villainous outbursts.  And yeah, that's MC Gainey taking a bullet.  Cool.  "The D Is Silent."

Dork Art: Jay Shaw's Django

Jay Shaw is getting a solo show over at the Mondo Gallery and OMG Posters has an interview and a sneak peak at a few of the posters.  Pretty cool stuff, but my absolute fave is the above print for Django.   Sergio Corbucci has been on my mind a lot lately thanks to all this Django Unchained love we've been seeing on the internet.  Django is a great flick, but if you haven't seen Corbucci's other flicks like The Great Silence, The Hellbenders, Revenge of a Gunfighter (aka The Mercenary), or Navajo Joe than you're really missing out.

1st Poster for Django Unchained!?!?!?

The news of Quentin Tarantino's new finished script, Django Unchained has barely settled on the interwebs and already we have our first fan obsessed poster!  This minimalist image is the work of Artist/Graphic Designer Federico Mancosu and it does just enough to get me pitter-pattering for a QT Western...or Southern as apparently what The Man likes to call it.  Obviously, it's too darn early to get excited but as a fan of the genre I can't wait to see what the master thief does with it--flicks like Kill Bill and Inglourious Basterds have shown that Spaghetti Western glimmer, but now Tarantino can go all bugnuts crazy.
