Dork Art: Elmo With A Shotgun

Artist Tony Sklepic does the impossible, joins the happy-happy-joy-joy world of Sesame Street with the Tromafied nightmare landscape of Jason Eisner's Hobo With A Shotgun.  The result is pure hilarity and another prime example of why the internet is so damn awesome.

Trailer: Robo With A Shotgun

Lee Hardcastle, the claymation video artist who brought us Pingu's The Thing, now gives us the Hobo With A Shotgun parody Robo With A Shotgun!  Genius!  I'm looking forward to the day when all of his work is collected onto a nifty blu ray and I can add this madness to my movie parties.

Dork Art: The Dude Designs

Tom Hodge, aka The Dude Designs, is quickly becoming one of my favorite illustrators.  Along with all this beautiful grime, Hodge did Hobo With A Shotgun, my favorite theatrical poster for 2011.  Seeing that ode to VHS box covers at my local art house theater was a definite thrill.  Anyway, I've been trolling his site these last few minutes and I was just blown away by the above Savage Streets poster.  That film has never looked so damn appealing.

Jason Eisner's Treevenge!

Before Jason Eisner rocked ITMOD's world with Hobo With A Shotgun, he directed the Christmas Horror short film, Treevenge.  And ya know what?  It's another reason to buy fake trees for the apartment every year.  Not only will I not get pine needles forever embedded in the carpet, but I won't get my brain skewered.  Click On The Gorey Image Below To Watch, but be warned it's potty mouthed and quite gooey.

Excellent.  Now I have something else to watch next to Gremlins, Silent Night Deadly Night, Die Hard, Rare Exports, Lethal Weapon, Santa's Slay, The Proposition, and Black Christmas.

Thanks to cineAWESOME! for posting the video.

Bonus: Hobo Art:
