An Expendable Last Supper

Below is another in a long line of Last Supper/Pop Culture mashups and just when I think I'm sick and tired of this Internet cliche I discover myself smiling ear to ear.  Stallone as a pistol packin' Christ = instantaneous chuckles.  Still, my favorite example of The Last Supper motif is Brandon Bird's epic James Woods + Robocop dinner table.

Pretty AWEsome poster for The Expendables 2 found via The Action Elite.  Really cannot wait to see this "Man And Knife" epic.  Supposedly these will be up for grabs at Comic Con.

Fan Made Trailer: Expendables 2 Red, White, & BOOM!

The below fan-made trailer for The Expendables 2 is pretty freaking hilarious.  I'm not totally convinced that the American Action Film is dead but I totally get where that opinion is coming from.  Men In Tights have been running amuck lately, and for every Green Lantern I'd prefer a dozen Commandos.  Man Up, America and go see The Expendables 2 (but only if it's R Rated cuz if it does get smacked with a PG-13 than the manly action film is truly in trouble).

Expendables 2 Poster Roundup!

A series of Expendables 2 posters have hit the net this afternoon and they are all kinds of manly.  But I'm still waiting to hear on that rating.  It's gonna be PG-13!  It's gonna be R!  It's gonna be PG-13!  It's gonna be R!  Make up your minds already so I can gage my level of excitement.  What was once a seriously anticipated sequel has fallen by the wayside.  Still, I love that Terry Crews poster.

Trailer: The Expendables 2

The trailer for The Expendables 2 has been unleashed and it's...okay.  Don't get me wrong, I'm stoked to see Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, and Arnie get pushed into the madness of Stallone's 80s action nostalgia-a-thon, but this is just a check out these badass faces and look at their badass guns trailer.  Looking forward to seeing something other than a teaser.  This is no GI Joe 2--WOW!  I can't believe I just typed that!

Oh, man.  I hate the "EX2" mumbo jumbo but this poster, like the original film, has got me giddy for all the 80s manliness.  Although, I do find it strange that Jet Li is missing from the group.  What up with that?
