They will never take...Our FREEDOM!!! Oh, wait...

What's that?  Visionary director Tarsem (Singh), the man behind The Cell and The Fall, has a new movie coming out?  And it's going to be about Greek mythology?  Holy crap.  That might be the greatest news I've heard in a long time.  It might just be my most anticipated film of 2011.

And there's a trailer, too?  I can't wait to watch it...

...What the crap?

Never mind.

  1. I was getting SO excited about this project. Some cool casting, some nice ideas, and Tarsem's visual style. But that trailer...Oh my goodness. What is that?

  3. Did you see the trailer in HD Matt? Did it even matter? lol I've been reading a lot of disappointment with the trailer but I actually like it. I'm a huge fan of Tarsem's visual style and I can see various touches of it here. I'm actually looking forward to this one.

  4. I'm with you Darren. I was lukewarm on The Cell, but thought it was a beautiful looking movie. And The Fall was one of my Top Ten films the year it came out. Tarsem doing Clash of the Titans gets me a little excited. And again, Mickey Rourke Shark Helmet, oh yeah.

  5. This could also end up being like that first Green Lantern trailer, that looked so bad, but was followed up by one that looked pretty good. But this looks far more 300 knock off than I was expecting, and doesn't seem to have much of the beauty of The Cell or The Fall. Don't get me wrong, I'm there. I'll be watching it. But I went from really excited to kind of meh after seeing the trailer (which I did see in HD first, D). And I could really do without the pre-battle speech in just one movie featuring people with swords.
