Dork Art: Oscars Legends

The Hero Complex gallery is gearing up to launch their Oscars Legends series this weekend.  Rather than showcasing this year's nominations, the gallery will focus on the Academy's past glories.  You've got your typical stuff like 2001 and Chinatown, but it's the spotlight on Bram Stoker's Dracula and The Incredibles that really got me smiling.  For more artwork and further info click on over to Slash Film.

Poster: Hitchcock

I'm definitely curious about this Hitch bio (as well as HBO's competing Toby Jones flick), but the other part of me wonders if there is a compelling story to be told regarding the production of Psycho.  I do prefer the focussed timeline of the story rather than a "Hitch, This Is Your Life" epic, but is there a film here that needs to be told?  Wouldn't you rather just watch Pscyho again?  Still need to see a trailer before I get all in a huff.

Dork Art: The Psychotic Gallery 1988

Found via Geek Tyrant.  These are two awesome Psycho prints from Gallery 1988's upcoming "Suspense & Gallows Humor: A Tribute to the All-Time Greatest."  The top print is from Joshua Budich and the bottom one from Ghoulish Gary Pullin and they are top notch.  I particularly love Budich's Mother, she's a scary ass bitch.

And you thought their relationship was weird before?  Threadless and Laughing Squid bring us this fantastic Star Wars/Psycho mashup that I didn't even know I needed until today.  If you want to plaster that image on your chest than you better jump on over to Threadless' site and leave a comment.  I'm guessing this T submission will happen.
