Dork At: No Strings On Me

Just a few hours after the Age of Ultron trailer hits, the fan art flood began.  Glad to see folks getting pumped for the big bad James Spader & the Pinocchio remix.  "No Strings on Me" makes for an excellent meme or hashtag.  Bring your best fanboys & girls.  We've featured deviant artist Doaly before, but this is my favorite piece I've seen from him so far.

"Don't Eat The Candy!" Red Band Hansel & Gretel Trailer

The below Red Band trailer tries to get us to care for a probably, spectacularly crappy film through potty language and blood.  And I'm totally there.  Ready to hate it or love it's trashy charm.  Jeremy Renner is still not ready for primetime IMHO, but I really want to love a film starring two of my favorite Bond girls: Famke Janssen & Gemma Arterton.  Fingers crossed that this is a January surprise.

Trailer: Hansel & Gretel

Below is the rather silly trailer for Hansel & Gretel - Witch Hunters.  Looks like the folk lore kids are all grown up and machine gunning the roving hordes of witches munching up forest children.    And things get pretty darn explodey when Famke Janssen's baby eater unsheathes her fangs.  My hate of Jeremy Renner is fading thanks to MI4, The Avengers, & The Bourne Legacy but that doesn't mean I'll accept him in something as ludicrous as this.  My fear is that Witch Hunters is going to take itself far too seriously despite its ancient gatling guns and heavy metal score--for this film to work it's got to get exploitation crazy.  Don't see that happening.

Trailer: The Bourne Legacy # 2

Below is the second trailer for The Bourne Legacy and I'm surprised by the enthusiasm in which my eyes greeted Jeremy Renner.  Has my Avengers love finally squashed my SWAT hate?  Maybe.  And besides the name Jason Bourne being repeated over and over and over again, I really like what I'm seeing from this sequel. It appears that this new film will take place during-or shortly after the second/third films.  And Stacey Keach is the new Brian Cox.  Maybe not an upgrade, but I'm down with it.

Dork Art: Mondo's Avengers

Here are the first two (of seven) posters that Mondo is releasing for Marvel's The Avengers.  The Hawkeye is from Tom Whalen and goes on sale 4/20.  The Black Widow is from Olly Moss and hits 4/19.  Not really crazy about either of these two but I eagerly await the Captain America and I'm guessing...Tyler Stout Avengers.

Trailer: The Avengers Party Comes To You!

With each new trailer for The Avengers I become increasingly fanboy crazy.  Here's a project I was fairly excited for at the conclusion of Captain America: The First Avenger and now I'm downright rabid.  The Hulk Catch!?!?  Excelsior!

Poster & Trailer: The Bourne Legacy

So this Matt Damon-less Bourne Legacy actually happened.  I dug director Tony Gilroy's direction of Michael Clayton and think he could be an interesting choice for this flick, but for me the jury is still out on Jeremy Renner.  I absolutely hated him in SWAT and that hate has spilled over into flicks like The Town, The Hurt Locker, and North Country.  But I actually started to warm to him in Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol and the image of him as Hawkeye in The Avengers doesn't cause me to gag...But what about the below trailer?  It looks okay.  But I also really didn't want a Damon-less adventure.
