In reading all the buzz surrounding upcoming movie releases the one film I keep running into is The Cabin in the Woods. It played at Harry Knowles' bday movie party bash Butt Numb-A-Thon, and apparently the whole place went nutso for this film co-written by Joss Whedon and directed by Cloverfield writer Drew Goddard. Today, I finally broke down and watched the trailer. Definitely looks interesting. Reminds me of one of my favorite forgotten creep-o films, Cube. After the constant disappointment from 2011's horror fare it sure would be nice to get a new classic. Wishful thinking? Anyway, what ya think?
